Keeping in Touch

A few ideas have been passed on to me since we last met.

In thinking about Guilford in 10 years, Dick Clark thinks we will have a country store and a post office. I'm trying to remember if he said a gas station, too. Did you, Dick?

Herb Meyer passed on the idea about a book drop in Algiers. I mentioned that at the Trustees meeting last night. Wow, said everyone, great idea.

I've completed the first draft of library trends, emailed to all committee members. Now Richard, Laura, Larry, Crystal and I need to identify some library service responses to carry out that vision. Then we'll get back together, probably in January.
